Will I get confirmation that I have become a RUSH® member?
Yes, once successfully signed up for a membership, you will receive a confirmation email with your username and password. You will then be able to log in to the site and registering for future programs. Please check your spam folder.

Will I get confirmation once I have registered for a RUSH® program?
Yes, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address for the program you have enrolled. Please check your spam folder.

Do I need to provide my own equipment?
Yes, all players are required to have their own equipment. Balls are provided for Winter Training Sessions, Skills Sessions and clinics. All other programs (Winter League, Summer (POGO) League, Tournaments etc.) players/teams are required to bring their own ball for warm up and games.

What equipment is needed to participate in field hockey?
Field Players: Field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, court, running or tennis shoes (no cleats), water, and a field hockey ball Goal Keepers: Full equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, neck guard, arm pads, leg guards, kickers), court shoes, mouth guard and water.

Are we allowed to wear our school or club attire?
Club /team uniforms are required for league(s) and tournament play. For Winter Training Sessions, Skills Sessions and RUSH® Clinics, a training top will be provided and required to be worn each training day.

Am I guaranteed a spot in programs offered by RUSH®?
RUSH® programs are available to ALL field hockey players in the San Diego region. Programs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Factors include: Facility capacity, enrollment numbers and desired coaching ratio.

If I miss sessions signed up for, will I get a refund?
No.

What if I can’t make the sessions that I have signed up for?
Make ups must be approved by the RUSH® administrative team in advance and are by special exception ONLY. Due to registration limits in all programming, “session jumping” is not permitted.

Does the RUSH® program offer Travel Team opportunities?
Yes, selected athletes will travel as the RUSH Travel Team to participate in five National Tournaments each year: The National Hockey Festival, Disney Showcase, the Cal Cup Tournament, and National Club Championships. Additional travel team opportunities may be available from year to year. Be sure to check the RUSH® home page for new events, programs and tournament information.

Is RUSH® replacing the Futures program?
No. Our programs are designed to provide year-round playing opportunities. We are a non-profit organization, organized to enhance field hockey locally through game play opportunities, leagues and specialized training. RUSH® programs prepare athletes for programs such as Futures and do not conflict.
